Abstract

Ösofagus karsinomuna bažll olarak gerçeklestirilen ösofagus re zeksiyonu ve ösofagogastrostomi travmatik bir ameliyat olup yüksek oranda postoperatif komplikasyon riski taslrnaktadlr. Postoperatif mortalitelerin en önemli sebepleri anastomoz yetersizlikleri ile pulmoner komplikasyonlardlr. Bu lasa bildiride total ösofagus rezeksiyonlarmdan sonra geçici servikal gastrostominin faydalarl tarif edilmeye çall¶lrmstlr. Anabilim Dallrmzda kanser ve striktüre bagli olarak total ösofagus rezeksiyonu ve ösofagogastrik anastomoz uygulanan 6 vak'ada geçici servikal gastrostomi yapllrms ve basarlll sonuç allnrmstlr.

Benefits of Temporary Cervical Gastrostomy After Esophageal Resection and Gastric Reconstruction

Abstract

Total esophagectomy for carcinoma of the esophagus with esophagogastrostomy is a traumatic operation with highrates of postoperative complications. The most frequent causes of postoperative mortality are anastomotic failure and pulmonary complications. This brief report describes the use of temporary cervical gastrostomy after resection. In our department temporary cervical gastrostomy was performed in 6 patients after esophagogastric anastomosis for cancer and strictures of the esophagus, with good results.
