The plant taxa included in this study consist of species that are found in the flora of Türkiye but are not previously known to be distributed in the B1 Square according to the Grid System or have not been reported in the literature. Therefore, findings indicating that these taxa are distributed in Manisa, Soma district are given for the first time. 4 of the 14 taxa given in this study are endemic. While 2 of the 14 taxa are Mediterranean, 3 are Irano-Turanian, the other 9 are multi-regional or taxa whose phytogeographic region is unknown.
Bu çalışmada yer alan bitki taksonları Türkiye Florası’nda bulunan ancak daha önce Grid Sistemi’ne göre B1 Karesinde yayılışı olduğu bilinmeyen ya da literatüre geçmemiş türlerden oluşmaktadır. Dolayısı ile bu taksonların Manisa, Soma ilçesinde yayılışları olduğuna dair bulgular B1 Karesi için ilk kez verilmektedir. Bu çalışmada verilen 14 taksondan 4 tanesi endemiktir. 14 taksonun 2’si Akdeniz, 3’ü İran-Turan elementi iken diğer 9 takson ise çok bölgeli veya fitocoğrafik bölgesi belli olmayan taksonlardır.
