Buçalışmada, günümüze dek sadece Yunanistan’ın batısından ve DoğuAnadolu’dan bilinen Linum punctatum subsp. pycnophyllum (Benliketen) içinGüneybatı Anadolu’dan yeni bir yayılış alanı verilmiştir. Türün betimlerineilaveten yayılış alanı ve fotoğrafları sunulmuştur. Ayrıca türün, IUCNKırmızı Liste Sınıfları ve Ölçütleri’ne göre doğadaki tehlike durumu tekrargözden geçirilmiştir.
