<p>This study aims to examine the return process of Syrian refugees to their home country within the framework of migration management and social integration dynamics. Recent political developments in Syria have paved the way for a renewed agenda regarding the return of Syrians. In the return process, both the living conditions in Türkiye and the security, stability, and service infrastructure in Syria play a determining role. Although the regime change in Syria in 2024 increased expectations of return, the realization of large-scale returns requires the permanent improvement of conditions in the country of origin. In addition, the integration processes of Syrians in Türkiye significantly influence their decisions to return. The increasing prevalence of marriages with Turkish citizens and the social and cultural integration of children born in Türkiye are key socio-demographic factors that reduce the likelihood of return. While informal employment represents one of the most significant challenges faced by the Syrian population in the labor market, the economic and social strengthening of many Syrians who have lived in Türkiye for an extended period is also considered an important factor in the return process.</p></trans-abstract>
