The research sample consisted of 23 national studies in this field. Itwas observed that these studies determined a positive relationship betweenparental educational level and student achievement in scientific literacy.Likewise, it was reported that there was a positive relationship betweenattitude towards science and student achievement and that female students aremore successful in scientific literacy. Moreover, the examined studies showedthat there was a positive relationship between devoted time for learning and scientificliteracy.success.</p>
