Bu çalışmada, Osmanlı Meskûkâtı külliyatına önemli katkılar sağlaması amacıyla, daha önce neşredilmemiş veya darp yeri bilinmeyen şehirlerde basılmış bir grup nadir sikkeyi bilim dünyasına sunulacaktır. Osmanlı paraları, eski İslâm ve Selçuk ananelerine uygun olarak muhtelif şehirlerde darp edilmiş olmakla birlikte, maalesef paraların üzerinde "Darb Tarihi" usûlüne, birkaç istisna haricinde, riayet edilmemiş; bilhassa akçelerde sadece padişahların tahta cülûs yılları belirtilmiştir.
This study presents a collection of rare coins, which are either previously unpublished or were minted in cities not generally known as Ottoman mints, with the aim of making significant contributions to the corpus of Ottoman Numismatics. Although Ottoman coinage was struck in various cities in accordance with old Islamic and Seljuk traditions, the practice of inscribing the full 'Date of Mintage' on the coins was unfortunately not adhered to, save for a few exceptions; consequently, only the Sultans’ accession years were specified, particularly on the silver akçes.
