Author Instructions for Biomedicine and Genome Research
Thank you for considering Biomedicine and Genome Research as the potential outlet for your research. To ensure smooth submission and publication process, please adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Manuscript Types
Biomedicine and Genome Research accepts the following types of manuscripts:
1.1. Research Articles: Original research articles reporting novel findings in biomedicine and genome research.
1.2. Reviews: Comprehensive reviews providing insights into current trends, methodologies, and advancements in biomedicine and genome research.
1.3. Perspectives: Opinion pieces or viewpoints discussing emerging concepts, controversies, or future directions in biomedicine and genome research.
2. Manuscript Preparation
2.1. General Formatting: Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word format, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins, and using a readable font (e.g., Times New Roman, Arial) in 12-point size.
2.2. Title Page: Include a title page with the title of the manuscript, names and affiliations of all authors, corresponding author's contact details, and any acknowledgments.
2.3. Abstract: Provide a structured abstract (maximum 250 words) for research articles, summarizing the background, methods, results, and conclusions. Reviews and perspectives should include a non-structured abstract.
2.4. Main Text: Organize the main text into sections appropriate for the manuscript type (e.g., Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion). Ensure clarity, conciseness, and logical flow of information.
2.5. References: Use the Vancouver referencing style. In-text citations should be numbered in paranthesis after a direct quote or at the end of the sentence. List references in the order they appear in the text at the end of the manuscript.
3. Manuscript Submission
3.1. Submit manuscripts online through the Dergi Park submission portal.
3.2. Include all figures, tables, and supplementary materials as separate files in the submission.
4. Peer Review Process
4.1. All submitted manuscripts undergo rigorous peer review by experts in the field.
4.2. Reviewers evaluate the scientific quality, originality, significance, and clarity of the manuscript.
4.3. Authors will receive feedback and have the opportunity to revise their manuscript based on reviewer comments.
5. Ethical Considerations
5.1. Authors must adhere to ethical guidelines regarding plagiarism, data fabrication, and authorship.
5.2. For studies involving human or animal subjects, provide evidence of ethical approval and informed consent.
6. Open Access Policy
6.1. Biomedicine and Genome Research is an open-access journal, ensuring widespread accessibility to published research.
6.2. Authors retain copyright of their work, which is published under a Creative Commons license.
