                            <p>Devil has been analyzed under the title of Semiiyyat in thetradition of the Ilmu’l-Kalam. In the Bible and the Qur&#039;an, he plays a part asa concrete entity associated with rebellion, insurrection, perversity, evil,mischief, in short, all the negativities.In the Old Testament, the devilis a being created by God as an instrument of testing people, with roles suchas accusing, libelous and enemy.Afterwards, however, he has become God&#039;scompetitor as a cosmic force.In the New Testament, he was portrayed as agood angel until the process of getting kicked out of subsequent to rebelagainst God. With the dismissal in thesequel of his rebellion, he tuned into the evil character angel. As for theQuran, Iblis, who is in the same position as the angels, is to be dismissedonthe back of his rebellion against God and to gain the devil&#039;s character.However,he is a demon created from the fire and in a different category from the angelsin terms of creation.In three religion, devil has a central position asbeing trying to prevent the peace and happiness of man.Therefore, in thepassages of the Torah and the Bible and many verses in the Qur’an have beenmentioned about devil, his structuralfeatures and ontological cause, and itis desired to keep away from him and those who go out of his way.</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>Şeytan, ilm-i Kelam geleneğinde sem’iyyat başlığı altında analizedilmektedir. Kitab-ı Mukaddes ve Kur’an’da başkaldırının, isyanın, yoldançıkmışlığın, kötülüğün, fesadın, kısacası bütün olumsuzlukların ilişkilendirildiğimüşahhas bir varlık olarak yer almaktadır. Eski Ahit’te şeytan Tanrı tarafından insanlarıimtihan etmenin bir aracı olarak yaratılan, suçlayıcı, iftiracı ve düşman gibirolleri bulunan bir varlıktır. Daha sonraları ise kozmik bir güç olarakTanrı’nın rakibi olmuştur. Yeni Ahit’te Tanrı’ya isyan edip huzurdankovuluncaya kadar ki süreçte iyi bir melek olarak tasvir edilmiştir. İsyanınınardından huzurdan kovulmasıyla birlikte kötü karakterli şeytan meleğedönüşmüştür. Kur’an’a gelince, melekler ile aynı konumda olan İblis’in Tanrı’yaisyanı neticesinde huzurdan kovulması ve şeytan vasfını kazanması söz konusudur.Ancak o, ateşten yaratılan bir cindir ve yaratılış bakımından meleklerdenfarklı bir kategoride yer almaktadır. Şeytan, üç dinde de insanın huzur vemutluluğuna engel olmaya çalışan varlık olarak merkezî bir konuma sahiptir. Buyüzdendir ki Tevrat ve İncil pasajları ile Kuran’daki pek çok ayette şeytandan,yapısal özelliklerinden ve ontolojik nedeninden bahsedilmekte, hem ondan hem deonun yolundan gidenlerden uzak durulması istenilmektedir.</p></abstract>
