Acquired Perforating Dermatosis Developing On The Basis Of Chronic Diabetic Nephropathy: A Case Report

Abstract

Acquired perforating dermatosis (APD) refers to a group of disorders characterized by pruritic skin lesions. APD is commonly associated with systemic diseases such as diabetes mellitus and chronic kidney disease. In this case report, we aim to emphasize the importance of considering perforating dermatosis in the differential diagnosis of pruritus, particularly in patients with underlying conditions such as diabetes mellitus and chronic kidney disease.

Kronik Diyabetik Nefropati Temelinde Gelişen Edinilmiş Perforan Dermatoz: Bir Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Edinilmiş perforan dermatoz (EPD), kaşıntılı deri lezyonlarıyla karakterize bir grup hastalığı ifade eder. EPD genellikle diyabetes mellitus ve kronik böbrek hastalığı gibi sistemik hastalıklarla ilişkilidir. Bu olgu sunumunda, özellikle diyabetes mellitus ve kronik böbrek hastalığı gibi altta yatan hastalıkları olan hastalarda, kaşıntının ayırıcı tanısında perforan dermatozun göz önünde bulundurulmasının önemini vurgulamayı amaçladık.
