Abstract

Crystal structure, surface acidity, surface arca, catalytic activity and electrical conduc- tivity behaviour of SiÜ2-ZrO2 system of various composition has been investigated. Samples with 50 % ZrO2 calcined at 550, 650 and 750°C showed a high concentration of acidic sites and catalytic activity for the H2O2 decomposition. The electrical conductivity of SiO2-ZrO2 mixture calcined at 750°C showed a lower value than the püre ZrOa- The results obtained have been discussed and correlated.
