Abstract

Ayvalık salt work is at İzmir-Ayvalık road. Total salt prodnction is 12 000 tons per year.
Sea vvater is ran from pond to pond. Na+, K,+, Ca+ , Mg+2, SO4 ~ and CF ions are con- centrated by solar evaporation. The ions were determined from 5th pond to crystalizecr pond. Rcsults are similar in Çamalb Salt Work.
