Öz

In parallel with many other countries throughout the world Turkey is also experiencing an information systems enabled transformation in health care system As a natural consequence of this change the importance of information systems in health care is continuously increasing However in order for this transformation to finalize the physicians should have competency in effective utilization of information systems In this respect the concept of computer self efficacy is of great significance The objective of this study is to measure the computer self efficacy perceptions of family physicians As part of this study a field survey has been conducted in the central and other counties of Kahramanmaraş province of Turkey Findings reveal that one of every two family physicians participated in our survey has high levels of computer self efficacy Gender does not have any impact on computer self efficacy while physicians significantly differ in their computer self efficacy perceptions according to their years of experience Keywords: Self efficacy computer self efficacy family physician health care healthcare information systems

Dünyada birçok ülkede olduğu gibi Türkiye’de de sağlık konusunda bilişime dayalı bir dönüşüm yaşanmaktadır Bunun doğal bir sonucu olarak bilişimin sağlıktaki önemi her geçen gün artarak devam etmektedir Bu dönüşümün tamamlanabilmesi için doktorların bilişim sistemlerinin etkin kullanımı konusunda yeterliğe sahip olmaları gerekmektedir Bu noktada bilişim sistemleri öz yeterliği kavramı önem kazanmaktadır Bu çalışmanın amacı aile hekimlerinin bilişim sistemleri öz yeterlik algılarının ölçülmesidir Bu çalışma kapsamında Kahramanmaraş ili merkez ve ilçelerinde aile hekimlerine yönelik anket uygulaması yapılmıştır Bulgular göstermektedir ki ankete katılan her iki aile hekiminden biri bilişim sistemleri konusunda kendine tamamen güvenmektedir Cinsiyet farklılıkları bu algıyı etkilemezken bazı konulardaki bilişim sistemleri öz yeterliği meslekte çalışma süresine göre istatistiki olarak anlamlı farlılıklar göstermektedir Anahtar Kelimeler: Öz yeterlik bilişim sistemleri öz yeterliği aile hekimi sağlık sektörü sağlıkta bilişim Computer Self Efficacy Perceptions Of Family Physicians: A field Survey In Kahramanmaraş Province
