Impatiens necrotic spot tospovirus (INSV): Morphology, Host Range, Symptom, Transmission, Geographical Distribution and Control Methods

Year 2010, Year: 2010 Issue: 1, 29 - 34, 01.02.2010

Abstract

INSV is a tospovirus, transmitted by thrips species and causing destructive disease of ornamental plants and some vegetable crops in different continents. For a long time, the genus was considered to be monotypic, consisting only of TSWV. However, discovery of a second tospovirus, INSV, was followed by description of an increasing number of tospoviruses in different parts of the world. INSV causes significant losses on a great variety of glasshouse ornamentals and vegetables in many countries, wherever vector is present to act as a vector. In this review, morphology, host range, symptoms, means of movement and dispersal, geographical distribution, control of INSV are summarized briefly

Camgüzeli nekrotik leke virüsü (Impatiens necrotic spot tospovirus; INSV): Özellikleri, Konukçuları, Belirtisi, Yayılışı, Coğrafi Dağılımı ve Mücadelesi
