Abstract
The introduction emphasises combining sustainable design into architecture and design education. Sustainable living require environmental education. Additionally, educational intervention methods, methodologies, and tools for sustainable design awareness are emphasized. Sustainable solutions require ecological thinking improvement. Thus, educational activities must analyze and improve students' sustainability awareness. Literature reviews recommend raising awareness via quantitative and qualitative research. Ecological thinking assessments evaluate students' awareness objectively and thoroughly. To progressively enhance students' understanding, intervention strategies incorporate sustainable design knowledge into educational programs. Education reform and innovative ways promote ecological leadership and responsibility. These criteria ensure that sustainable design information is properly integrated into education, promoting conscious design choices. Many studies encourage eco-design and thinking. Research shows that student and professional consciousness-raising activities raise environmental and ethical awareness. Most research measures sustainability awareness and develops educational interventions. Student environmental attitudes, knowledge, and activities were measured using quantitative research methods including surveys and scales. These measurements revealed how sustainable design influences life and work. Through student comments, project analysis, and observations, qualitative research gave extensive information. These studies found that sustainability education improves students' environmental thinking and decision-making. Research shows project-based learning and design ethics increase students' ecological thinking. This data enhances measurement, assessment, and sustainable design awareness.
