TOWARDS A CONCEPTUAL DEFINITION OF GENRE

Öz

Although the term “genre” is used in critical language in a cursory manner, the conceptual limits of this word is rather ambiguous in Turkish. This essay is a comparative study of the different definitions of “genre” in the works of contemporary philosophers like Jacques Derrida, Georg Lukács, Tzvetan Todorov, David Fishelov and Mikhail Bakhtin

Bu yazı, Jacques Derrida, Georg Lukács, Tzvetan Todorov, David Fishelov ve Mikhail Bakhtin gibi çağdaş düşünürlerin görüşleri ışığında tür kavramının farklı tanımlarını karşılaştırmalı olarak incelemektedir
