                            <p>In recent decades, the expansion of graduate education in the social sciences and adjacent disciplines has generated a substantial body of methodological literature. Yet much of this literature remains fragmented, typically divided between technical manuals, philosophical treatises, and professional “how-to” guides. Klaus Solberg Söilen’s The Researcher’s Journey (2025) enters this crowded field with a more ambitious objective: to synthesize these domains into a unified account of what it means to become a researcher. The result is a wide-ranging and pedagogically oriented work that seeks to accompany students from their first encounters with scientific inquiry to their eventual positioning within the academic profession.</p></trans-abstract>
