Bu çalışma, Nisan 2008–Kasım 2009 tarihleri arasında, Gökova Körfezi’nde (Ege Denizi) kıyı karides balıkçılığının araştırma sonuçlarını vermektedir. Gökova Körfezi’nde 13 tekne karides avcılığı yapmaktadır. Teknelerin boyları 6,8–9 m, makine güçleri 7–30 hp’dir. Yine teknelerin tamamı ahşap materyalden yapılmıştır. On örnekleme operasyonu boyunca yapılan toplam av miktarı 113,53 kg’dır. Hedef tür olan M. kerathurus dışında toplam 27 familyaya ait 34 tür tespit edilmiştir Sardinella aurita, Mugil spp., Pagellus erythrinus en çok yakalanan hedef dışı türlerdir. Ortalama CPUE 1,44±0,67 kg/1000 m olarak hesaplanmıştır. Gökova Körfezi’nde oluklu karides avcılığında balıkçılık gücü ve birim çabaya düşen av (CPUE) miktarları oldukça düşük olarak kaydedilmiştir
