Management of Congestive Heart Failure and Pulmonary Edema

Öz

Congestive heart failure (CHF) is one of the
most important challenge received by emergency physcians. Current review
describes the management of CHF and pulmonary edema based on the latest
updates, with a priority in the 2016 guidelines of the European Society of
Cardiology (ESC). In the latest guidelines, they were more algorithmic approach
than previous ones. The importance of step treatment was
emphasized based on these algorithms.  It was seen that treatment and
management were done with prognostic classifications especially
Nohria-Stevenson classification.
