                                                                                                <abstract><p>Günümüzde çevre sorunlarının artmasıyla birlikte sürdürülebilir kalkınma ve ekolojik vatandaşlık gibi birçok kavram hayatımıza girmiştir. Özellikle eğitim yoluyla çevresel farkındalığın artırılması, bu sorunlara karşı duyarlı bireylerin yetiştirilmesinde kilit rol oynamaktadır. Öğretmen adaylarının bu süreçte sahip oldukları bilgi, tutum ve davranışlar, gelecekteki kuşakların çevre bilinci üzerinde doğrudan etkili olacağını düşünüyoruz. Bu bağlamda, öğretmen adaylarının sürdürülebilir kalkınma konusundaki farkındalık düzeyleri ile ekolojik vatandaşlık eğilimleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi önemlidir. Bu noktada araştırmanın amacı, öğretmen adaylarının sürdürülebilir kalkınma farkındalıkları ile ekolojik vatandaşlık düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymaktır. İstanbul&#039;da öğrenim gören ve ölçüt örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen öğretmen adaylarıyla yürütülen bu nicel araştırma, ilişkisel tarama modeliyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler, “Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Farkındalık Ölçeği” ve “Ekolojik Vatandaşlık Ölçeği” aracılığıyla toplanmış ve t-testi, ANOVA ve Pearson korelasyon analizi gibi yöntemlerle analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular, sürdürülebilir kalkınma farkındalığı ile ekolojik vatandaşlık düzeyi arasında düşük düzeyde fakat pozitif yönlü bir ilişki olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu bulgu, öğretmen adaylarının çevresel bilinçlerinin artırılmasının, ekolojik vatandaşlık becerilerini geliştirmeye katkı sağlayabileceğini ortaya koymaktadır.</p></abstract>

                            <p>With the increasing environmental problems in today&#039;s world, concepts such as sustainable development and ecological citizenship have entered our lives. Especially, raising environmental awareness through education plays a key role in nurturing individuals who are sensitive to these issues. The knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of teacher candidates in this process are believed to have a direct impact on the environmental consciousness of future generations. In this context, it is important to examine the relationship between teacher candidates&#039; awareness of sustainable development and their tendencies towards ecological citizenship. The purpose of this research is to reveal the relationship between teacher candidates&#039; awareness of sustainable development and their levels of ecological citizenship. This quantitative study, conducted with teacher candidates studying in Istanbul and selected through purposive sampling, was carried out using a relational survey model. Data were collected through the &quot;Sustainable Development Awareness Scale&quot; and the &quot;Ecological Citizenship Scale&quot; and analyzed using methods such as t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation analysis. The findings show a low but positive relationship between sustainable development awareness and ecological citizenship level. This finding suggests that increasing teacher candidates&#039; environmental consciousness can contribute to the development of their ecological citizenship skills.</p></trans-abstract>
