                            <p>In this study, an industrial automation system is developed which enables the apples to be grouped into four by considering their masses. In the study, the force of gravity of the apples’ masses is scaled with a load cell. The scaled quanta is used for grouping the apples into four different mass classes via the algorithm written with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller). By means of SCADA software developed industrial automation system of the grouping the apples according to their masses are scanned as well as controlled and commanded. With the designed system Golden, Starking and Jonagold apples are examined in four categories according to their masses. After examining 720 apples, apples are observed to be grouped correctly according to the defined mass classes</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>Bu çalışmada, elmaların kütlesi göz önüne alınarak dört farklı sınıfa ayrılmasını sağlayan bir endüstriyel otomasyon sistemi geliştirilmiştir. Çalışmada, elmaların kütlesinin oluşturduğu ağırlık kuvveti, yük hücresi tarafından ölçülmüştür. Ölçülen bu büyüklük Programlanabilir Mantıksal Denetleyici (PLC)’de yazılan algoritma yardımı ile elmaların dört farklı kütle sınıfına ayrılmasında kullanılmıştır. Bununla birlikte geliştirilen SCADA yazılımı sayesinde, kütlesine göre elma sınıflandırma endüstriyel otomasyon sisteminin işleyişi görüntülenerek, kontrol ve kumanda edilmesi sağlanmıştır. Tasarlanan sistem ile Golden, Starking ve Jonagold türü elmalar kütlelerine göre toplamda dört sınıfa ayrılarak incelenmiştir. 720 elma üzerinde yapılan incelemede elmaların belirlenen ağırlık sınıflarına göre doğru bir şekilde ayrıştırıldığı görülmüştür</p></abstract>
