The ELT Research Journal draws upon a range of research articles addressing language learning and teaching, methodology and teacher training. Volume 7 Issue 2 of the ELT Research Journal has been published and all of the three contributions address a number of issues in the field of English Language Teaching.
The first article presents content analysis of the abstracts of publications available in Turkish Journal Park Academic platform with an attempt to reveal tendency in ELT research. The second paper aims to review program evaluation studies conducted on preparatory language programs offered by Turkish universities which use English Medium Instruction (EMI). The last study presents the types of questions asked in different sections of oral proficiency interviews from a conversation analytic perspective.
We would like to thank all the researchers who have contributed to the current issue of the journal with their invaluable academic works. We would also like to thank all editors, co-editors and reviewers of the ELT-RJ for their voluntary contribution to the journal by managing the review process.
