                            <p>Bu çalışmada konakçıya bulaşan patojen ve konakçının bu patojene verdiği bağışıklık sistemi yanıtı arasındaki dinamikleri inceleyen bir matematiksel model önerildi. Model, patojen ve bağışıklık sistem hücrelerinin temel mekanizmaları dikkate alınarak biri patojen yükünü diğeri ise konakçının bağışıklık sistemi hücrelerini temsil eden iki diferansiyel denklemden oluşan bir sistemdir. Kalitatif analiz, enfeksiyondan bağımsız denge noktasına ek olarak muhtemel pozitif denge nokta ya da noktalarının varlığını ortaya çıkardı. Bu denge noktalarına ait kararlılık ve çatallanma analizi yapıldı. Holling tip-2 türü yanıt kullanılan modelimiz; kullanılan parametrelere bağlı olarak bir bireydeki enfeksiyon ve muhtemel yeniden enfeksiyon durumunun büyüklüğünü ve zamanlamasını tahmininde yararlanılabilecek  kullanışlı bir araçtır. Elde edilen sonuçlar nümerik simülasyonlar vasıtasıyla desteklendi.</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>In this study, a mathematical model has been proposed to examine the dynamics between the pathogen infected to host and the host&#039;s immune system response given due this pathogen.The model is a system composed of two differential equations which represents the cells of host&#039;s immune system and the pathogen&#039;s burden by considering basic mechanisms of these. Qualitative analysis found out the positive equilibrium points being possible in addition to the infection-free equilibrium point. The stability and bifurcation analysis of this equilibrium points was performed. Our mathematical model used Holling type-2 response is a useful tool that can be utilized in predicting the timing and expansion of infection and possible reinfection processes in an individual as depend on the parameters used. Also, the results os analysis was supported by numerical simulations.</p></abstract>
