Her geçen gün önemi daha da artan hizmet sektörü yapısı içinde sağlık sektörü de giderek ön plana çıkmaktadır. Sağlık sektöründeki hastane amaçlar ı ndan birisi de, maliyetlerin minimize edilip, çal ış ma kalitesinin ve verimlili ğ inin artt ı r ı lmasıdır. Bunun için çal ış an hem ş irelerin yeterli say ı da olmas ı oldukça önemlidir. Hem ş ire say ı s ı n ı n az olmas ı i ş yükünü artt ı raca ğı ndan, hizmet kalitesini dü ş ürecektir. Çal ış an say ı s ı n ı n fazla olmas ı ise maliyetleri artt ı raca ğı ndan tercih edilmeyecektir. Yapılan çalışmada, sağlık sektöründe faaliyet gösteren bir hastanede hemşire çizelgeleme problemi üzerinde durulmuştur. Müşteri memnuniyetini sağlayacak, hastane verimliliğini artırarak, maliyetleri minimize edecek şekilde, her vardiyada çalışması gereken hemşire sayıları bulunmuştur. Mevcut ve önerilen durum karşılaştırılmıştır.
Customer satisfaction becomes more important because of increasing competition. Health sector is prominent in the service sector. In health sector, hospitals objectives are minimizing the costs and increasing the quality of work and productivity. To achieve this goals, it is ve ry important to have a sufficient number of nurses. In sufficient number of nurses causes to increase the workload and reduce the quality of service. More than sufficient number of nurses cause to increase the costs and it will not be preferred.In this stu dy, focused on the nurse scheduling problem, application study has been done at a hospital and 0 - 1 linear goal programming model has been developed for selected hospital. The model has been solved, the optimum number of nurses per shift has been found to improve the productivity of the hospital and minimize the costs. Current and proposed situations are compared.
