Araştırma, Ocak-Aralık 2007 tarihleri arasında Trabzon (Doğu Karadeniz) kıyılarında dip trolü ile avlanan balık faunası üzerine yapılmıştır. Örnekleme periyodu boyunca 2 sınıf, 8 takım ve 25 familyaya ait 28 tür belirlenmiştir. Bunlardan 3 tanesi kıkırdaklı (Chondrichthyes) ve 25 tanesi de kemikli balıklara (Osteichthyes) aittir.

The present study was conducted on fish fauna by bottom trawled in Trabzon coast (East Black Sea) between January-December 2007. During the study period, a total of 28 species belong to 2 classis, 8 ordo, 25 families were been determined There were 3 species belonging to Elasmobranchii and 25 species belonging to Actinopterygii.
