<p>Thisstudy was carried out with the aim of detecting the bacterial pathogens causingthe disease in the redporgy (Pagruspagrus) and common seabream (Pagrusmajor) fishes cultivated in the cage farm in our country. 8 moribound redporgyand 5 red seabream weighing 100-250 gr were investigated in the sampling between2009 and 2010. After the clinical examination of indivudials, necropsy were performedand bacteriological cultures were stread into different media from viceralorgans (liver, spleen and kidney) and afected tissue sampels from moriboundfish were collected inside 10% buffered formaline solusion to seacrhbacterial pathogens effects. Externally pigmentation problem and swelling in the abdomen were determinated inmoriboud fish while lubrication of internal organs, liver hemorrhage andshrinkage internally. As a result of bacteriological investigation, Photobacterium damselae subsp. damselae was only isolated andidentifield from moribound redporgy, while from P. damselae subsp. damselaewere isolated and identifield with other pathogen bacteria Vibrio alginolyticus, Stapylococcusaeureus and Microcooccus sp. frommoribound red seabream. Histopathologically, vakuoler degeneration andliquefactive necrosis in the parenchyma cells ofliver, tubular necrosis andmultifocal melanocyte macrophage foci in the kidneys, melting in muscle andgill filaments, necrosis in the intestinal mucosa and the intestinal epitheliumsloughte into lumen, hemosiderindeposits as well as spleen emptying were determinated. As a result, P. damselaesubsp. damselae as a primary pathogenfor these two fish species caused acute Photobacteriosis were firstlydetermineted in this study.</p></trans-abstract>
