                                                                                                                        <abstract><p>Eldokuması halı üretimi küçük ölçekli atölyelerde, genellikle kötü koşullardayapılan bir üretim faaliyeti olup, uzun süreli statik ve tekrarlı çalışmayıgerektirir. Uygun olmayan vücut duruşu, tekrarlayan hareketler, kontak stres veuzun çalışma süresi gibi nedenlerle kas-iskelet bozukluklarının (KİSH) ortayaçıkmasına neden olan yüksek riskli bir iştir. Geleneksel olarak tasarlanmıştezgahlarda uygun olmayan duruş, tekrarlı ve saatler süren statik çalışmalar,halı dokuyucularda kas iskelet sistemi rahatsızlıklarının artmasına, artrit,karpal tünel sendromuna (KTS) ve el fonksiyonlarının azalmasına nedenolmaktadır. Türkiye’de, el dokuması halı üretimi, dokumada kullanılandonanım-ekipman ve ortamdan kaynaklanan sağlık sorunları ve ergonomik tasarımayönelik doğrudan çalışma bulunmamaktadır. Birçok endüstride olduğu gibi eldokuması halı endüstrisinde de karar vericiler ve çalışanlar ergonomiuygulamalarının geliştirilmesinin, engellerin ortadan kaldırılmasında veendüstriyel verimliliğin artmasında yardımcı olabileceğinin çok farkındadeğildir. Bu literatür çalışmasında halı dokuyucuların yüz yüze olduğuergonomik sorunlar, dünyada yapılan çalışmalar üzerinden irdelenmiş; yapılanergonomik çalışmalar doğrultusunda dokuma ve çalışma ortamından kaynaklanansağlık sorunlarının önlenebilmesine yönelik çözüm önerileri ele alınmıştır.</p></abstract>
