                                                                                                                        <abstract><p>Söz konusu çalışma materyali olan Picris L., Asteraceae familyasının Cichorioideae alt familyasına ait Lactuceae kabilesinin Hypochaeridinae alt kabilesinin bir üyesidir.Geleneksel sınıflandırmada 3 alt gruba ayrılabilir (Barnadesiodeae, Cichorioideae ve Asteroideae). Picris cinsi Türkiye Florası ve Doğu Ege Adası Florasında P. hieracioides, P. olympica, P. strigosa, P. pauciflora, P. cyprica, P. campylocarpa, P. altissima, P. kotschyi türleriyle temsil edilmektedir. , P. amalecitana.DNA izolasyonu fenol-kloroform-izoamilalkol kullanılarak yapıldı. Moleküler belirteç olarak nükleer ribozomal DNA&#039;nın (nrDNA) TS (İç Transkript Bölgesi) ve kloroplast DNA dizilerinin trnL-F (Transfer RNA kodlama) bölgesi kullanıldı. Türkiye&#039;de yayılış gösteren Picris cinsine ait taksonlar morfolojik ve filogenetik veri setleri birleştirilerek analiz edilmiştir. Filogenetik analiz PAUP 4.0b10 yazılımı kullanılarak yapıldı. Veri setinin maksimum parsimoni kriterini kullanan analizi, cimri olan 95 (en cimri) 13 ağacın Dal ve Sınırlı veri seti analizi ile bağlantı algoritması kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Çoğunluk kuralı konsensüs algoritmasıyla yapılan Bootstrap analizi, bazı dalları destekleyen bir konsensüs ağacı oluşturdu. Bu çalışmada elde edilen bulgular benzer çalışmaların sonuçlarıyla birlikte Picris, Leontodon, Helminthotheca ve Hypochaeris&#039;in Hypochaeris alt tribusunda yer aldığını desteklemektedir.</p></abstract>
