The influences of feed rate, depth of cut, and corner radius on surface roughness and cutting force wereexamined. In order to optimize the turning process, Grey Relational Analysisoptimization method was used. The influence of each parameter on obtainedresults was determined by using analysis of variance (ANOVA). The relationshipbetween dependent parameters and independent parameters were modeled byRegression analysis. The optimal machinability of 17-4 PH stainless steel withcoated carbide insert was successfully determined in this study.</p>
