                                                                                                <abstract><p>Bu araştırmada, asit-baz konusunun öğretiminde 5E öğrenme modelinin farklı öğrenme stillerine sahip öğrencilerin akademik başarılarına etkisini ortaya koymak amaçlanmıştır. Tek grup ön test son test araştırma modelinin kullanıldığı araştırmada, örneklem olarak Erzurum ilinde bulunan 94 Lise 11. sınıf öğrencisi seçilmiştir. Altı hafta süreyle kimya dersi asit baz konusu 5E öğrenme modeline göre işlenmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen 20 soruluk asit-baz kavram başarı testi ve Kolb’un öğrenme stilleri envanteri kullanılmıştır. Uygulama öncesi ve sonrasında öğrencilere asit-baz kavram başarı testi ve Kolb’un öğrenme stil envanteri uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler farklı öğrenme stillerine sahip öğrencilerin 5E modeline göre asit-baz konusu akademik başarıları arasında anlamlı bir fark olup olmadığını belirmek için istatistiksel olarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın bulguları, 5E modelini esas alan etkinliklerin farklı öğrenme stillerine sahip öğrencilerin ihtiyaçlarına cevap verecek nitelikte hazırlandığını göstermektedir.</p></abstract>
