                                                                                                                        <abstract><p>Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’de yabancı menşeliüniversite açılması durumunda, potansiyel müşterilerin seçim tercihinin hangibireysel ve bölgeye yönelik faktörlerden etkilenebileceği incelenmektedir.Toplam 362 yükseköğrenim öğrencisinden elde edilen veriye, Aşamalı ÇokluDoğrusal Regresyon Analizleri uygulanmıştır. Katılımcıların sekiz farklıcoğrafi bölgeye ait tutum ve algıları ölçülmüştür. Sonuçlar, katılımcılarınetnosentrik eğilimlerinin, dindarlık düzeylerinin ve yaşam tarzlarınınuluslararası üniversite tercihlerini etkilediğini ve bu etkilerin bölgelerarasında farklılaştığını göstermektedir. Ayrıca, bölgeye ait özelliklerden,algılanan düşmanlık, tüketici yakınlığı ve bölgenin algılanan prestiji gibideğişkenlerin de, bölgeler arasında farklılaştığı ve katılımcıların üniversitetercihlerinde anlamlı farklılıklara neden olduğu görülmüştür. Çalışma,yükseköğretimin uluslararasılaşması sürecinde Türkiye’yi, bir hedef pazarolarak ele alması açısından ilgili literatüre ışık tutan bir ön araştırmaniteliğindedir.</p></abstract>
