Yetişkin Eğitimi Perspektifinden Ebelik

Abstract

Bu makalede, ebelik mesleğinin yetişkin eğitimi perspektifinden ele alınarak, ebe ile hizmet alan birey arasındaki eğitsel ilişki ve çok boyutlu bir bakış açısıyla değerlendirilmiştir. Ebeler, kadınların yaşamındaki kritik dönemlerde rehberlik sağlayan, destek sunan ve bilgi verici bir rol üstlendikleri göz önüne alındığında, eğitici kimliklerinin mesleki yeterliliklerinin ayrılmaz bir parçası olduğu vurgulanmıştır. Yetişkin eğitimi ilkeleri; gebe eğitimi, doğum öncesi ve sonrası danışmanlık, emzirme danışmanlığı gibi birçok ebelik uygulamasında rehberlik edici bir çerçeve sunmaktadır. Aynı zamanda ebelerin mesleki gelişim süreçlerinde öz-yönelimli ve yaşam boyu öğrenmeye dayalı eğitim modelleri, sürekli gelişimi desteklemektedir. Bu çalışma ile, ebelik mesleğinin hem eğiten hem de öğrenen yönü ön plana çıkarılarak, yetişkin eğitimi temelli bir yaklaşımın alana sağlayacağı katkılar tartışılmıştır.

Midwifery From the Perspective of Adult Education

Abstract

In this article, the educational relationship between the midwifery profession from the perspective of adult education and the educational relationship between the midwife and the service recipient is evaluated from a multidimensional perspective. Considering that midwives assume a guiding, supportive and informative role during critical periods in women's lives, it is emphasized that their educational identity is an integral part of their professional competence. Adult education principles provide a guiding framework for many midwifery practices such as pregnancy education, prenatal and postnatal counseling, breastfeeding counseling. At the same time, education models based on self-directed and lifelong learning support continuous development in the professional development processes of midwives. In this study, the contributions of an adult education-based approach to the field were discussed by emphasizing both the educator and learner aspects of the midwifery profession.
