In this study, it is aimed to compare teachers' self-efficacy beliefs of the Pedagogical Formation Training Certificate Program and Faculty of Theology teacher candidates. In this research, the relational screening model, which is one of the quantitative research models, was used. The sample consists of 250 teacher candidates studying in these programs. The data collected with the Teachers' Self Efficacy Scale were analyzed using the SPSS 22 statistics program. Depending on whether the self-efficacy scores show normal distribution in terms of independent variables, the independent sample t-test of parametric tests, Mann Whitney U test and Kruskal Wallis H-test, which are non-parametric tests, were used. The results obtained from the study are as follows: the level of teacher candidates’ perceptions of self-efficacy was determined as “high”. It was revealed that self-efficacy perceptions of teacher candidates differ according to the program in which they receive pedagogical education, and age. Self-efficacy beliefs of teacher candidates do not differ according to gender, academic achievement perception and post-graduate employment areas.
Bu çalışmada, İlahiyat Fakültesi örgün öğrencileri ile Pedagojik Formasyon Sertifika Programı öğrencilerinin öğretmen öz yeterlik inançlarının çeşitli değişkenler açısından karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada, nicel araştırma modellerinden ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, bu iki programda eğitim alan öğrencilerden tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 250 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Veriler, “Öğretmen Özyeterlik Ölçeği” ile elde edilmiş ve SPSS 22 istatistik programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde, puanların değişkenler bakımından normal dağılım gösterip göstermeme durumuna göre parametrik testlerden bağımsız örneklem t-testi, parametrik olmayan testlerden Mann Whitney U testi ile Kruskal Wallis H testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre; öğretmen adaylarının özyeterlik inanç düzeyleri hem genel hem de alt boyutlarda “yüksek” düzeyde bulunmuştur. Öğretmen adaylarının özyeterlik inanç düzeylerinin, formasyon eğitimi alınan programa ve yaşa göre farklılaştığı tespit edilirken; cinsiyete, akademik başarı algı düzeyine ve mezuniyet sonrası çalışmak istedikleri istihdam alanına göre bir farklılaşma göstermediği tespit edilmiştir.
