<p>This article comprehensively examines the impact of digital folklore on education and literature in the 21st century. The process of digitalization has laid the groundwork for the transformation of traditional folklore narratives; through digital platforms such as social media, memes, blogs, digital storytelling, and micro-narratives, it has radically altered both cultural transmission practices and literary expression forms. In this context, the study argues that digital folklore functions not only as a cultural phenomenon but also as a powerful pedagogical tool in contemporary education. The analytical framework is based on Michel Foucault’s theory of knowledge-power relations, Paulo Freire’s approach to critical pedagogy, and Jean Baudrillard’s theory of simulation, providing a multi-layered analysis. The study thoroughly analyzes the influence of digital folklore on both individual identity construction and collective memory processes. The findings reveal that digital folklore holds transformative potential in education by enhancing media literacy, critical thinking, cultural awareness, and creative expression skills. This demonstrates how digital culture has evolved beyond being merely a space for entertainment or communication to become a dynamic learning environment that actively supports critical thinking.</p></trans-abstract>
