The Intellectual people, especially Westernist ones in our culture have been enemies to their own world and occupied with damaging it since the Tanzimat Period. The dynamics of this world which they have been constantly patronizing and eventually bumped into are : Religion, language, culture, art, tradition, etc., However a nation owns his existance to these dynamics. Destruction and trying to terminate these dynamics, mean ripping off a nation from their root. Real intellectual, philosopher, scientist, who is seeking their part in all that is happening. Moreover, who has discovered and examined the resources of their weaknesses. Prof. Dr. Necati ONER is a philosopher and thinker who has noticed the dimensions and the purpose of the destruction that is penetrating to whole goings-on. He handles national values like culture and language in his marvelous world of philosophizing and logicism; analyze them and show their positions and functions in national texture. ONER give utmost importance the language. Language is directly related to the existence of a nation and its survival in his thinking. Despite this, the language has beenneglected for centuries for some reason and foreign languages have invaded it. Especially formal education in a foreign language is a weirdness that can be only seen in slave communities. In this review, all these will be tried to be put forward from the perspective of ONER.
Ülkemizde aydın, özellikle Batıcı aydın Tanzimat’tan beri kendi dünyasına düşman ve onu tahriple meşgul. Sürekli hor gördüğü, sataştığı bu dünyanın dinamikleri: Dini, dili, kültürü, sanatı, geleneği vs. Hâlbuki millet ancak bu dinamikler sayesinde millettir. Bu dinamiklerin tahribi ve bunlarla oynama bir milletin kökünden sökülüp atılması demektir. Asıl aydın, düşünür, bilim adamı tüm bu olup bitenlerde kendi payını arayandır. Zaafların kaynaklarını keşfeden ve irdeleyendir. Prof. Dr. Necati Öner, bu manada tüm bu olan bitene nüfuz eden, tahribatın boyutlarını ve amacını gören bir düşünürümüz, filozofumuzdur. O, aksine milli değerleri, kültürden dile felsefeciliğinin ve mantıkçılığının harikulade dünyasında ele alır, tahlil eder, milli bünyedeki yerlerini, işlevlerini gösterir. Öner, dili önceler. Dil, onda bir milletin var oluşuyla, varlıkta kalışıyla doğrudan ilgilidir. Buna rağmen ne hikmetse yüzyıllardır ihmal edilir. Yabancı dillerin istilasına uğrar. Hele yabancı dille öğretim, ancak köle toplumlarında görülebilecek bir garabettir. Bu incelemede tüm bunlar Öner’in açısından ortaya konulmaya çalışılacaktır.
