                                                                                                <abstract><p>Pozitivizme göre biz, sadece fenomenleri bilebiliriz. Bu bilgimiz de kesindeğil, rölatiftir. Pozitivist felsefenin kurucusu Fransız filozofu Auguste Comte’agöre yaşanan çağ, 19. yüzyıl bilim çağıdır. Bu yüzden felsefe de pozitif olmalıdır.Felsefenin pozitifleşmesi demek, onun teolojik ve metafizik unsurlarındanayrılması anlamına gelir. Geçmişten günümüze insan zihni üç dönem geçirmiştir.Bunlar; teolojik, metafizik ve pozitif dönemlerdir. Pozitif dönem, sadece olaylarıele alır. Olayları idare eden şeyin yalnızca tabiat kanunları olduğunu söyler. Budönemin ürünü bilimdir. Oysa teolojik dönemin ürünü din, metafizik döneminürünü ise felsefedir.Pozitivist felsefenin Türkiye’ye yansımaları, Batıdan, özellikle Fransa’dantercümeler yoluyla başlamıştır. Yeni Osmanlılar, İttihat ve Terakki dernekleri ileServet-i Fûnun Ulum-u İktisadiye ve İçtimaiye gibi dergiler aracılığıyla olmuştur.Bu etkileri görebileceğimiz filozoflar arasında Beşir Fuad, Ahmet Mithad,Ziya Gökalp, Rıza Tevfik’i sayabiliriz.</p></abstract>

                            <p>According to the Positivism, we are only capable of knowing phenomenon,where knowledge of phenomenon is only relative. A French philosopher,the founding father of the positive philosophy Auguste Comte argues that 19thcentury is the age of positive sciences; hence, the philosophy must acquire characteristicsof a positive science by excluding its theological and metaphysicalingredients. From past to the present time, human consciousness has been throughthree different periods as theological period, metaphysical period and positiveperiod. The positive period, among those periods, is the only one that focusesonly on the events by setting forward the laws of nature as main drive behind theability of occurrences. Hence, the positive period led the growth of the science,while the others, theological period and the metaphysical period, were majoringthe religion and the philosophy.In Turkey, the very effects of the positivist philosophy has begun with thearrival of literatures had been brought from the West, especially from France, andtranslated into Turkish via magazines such as “Servet-i Fûnun” and “Ulum- u İktisadiyeve İçtimaiye” as well as by the associations like “Yeni Osmanlılar” and“İttihat ve Terakki”. We can remind Beşir Fuad, Ahmet Mithad, Ziya Gökalp,Rıza Tevfik’s opinions that are shown the effects of positivism.</p></trans-abstract>
