The questions such as whether or not the universe had a beginning or whereit came from this regularity is the greatest curiosity of humanity. But, thermodynamicsand especially its the second law that was born with the discoveryof the working principle of the steam engines which is the product of the industrialrevolution offers answers to quench our curiosity from the finiteness of theuniverse to the regularity of the initial conditions. This article examines the lawof entropy, from the discovery of classical thermodynamics to statistical mechanicsand probabilistic interpretation and, discuss the results from physics tocosmology. Finally, the article argues that the appealing to the existence of God ismore reasonable than to hope the realization of the lowest chance in the universeaccording to the human mind, by evaluating maximum regularity of the initialconditions of the universe from the perspective of probability.
</trans-abstract>
