                                                                                                <abstract><p>İçten yanmalı motorlarda silindir içi yanmanın modellenmesi hala karmaşık bir konudur. Benzin veya dizel gibi geleneksel yakıtların dışındaki yakıtların performansını, yanma rejimlerini ve emisyon davranışını doğru bir şekilde tahmin etmek için daha fazla geliştirme çalışmalarına ihtiyaç vardır. Bu çalışmada, 0/1-boyutlu AVL Boost programı kullanılarak sayısal modeli doğrulamak için tam yükte dizel yanma rejimindeki deneysel veriler kullanılmıştır. Doğrulama çalışmaları sırasında Vibe 2-Zone yanma modeli kullanılmıştır. Analizler sonucunda performans ve emisyon değerleri incelendiğinde % 94’e yakın uyum olduğu görülmüştür. Dizel yanma rejiminde sayısal doğrulama yapıldıktan sonra, emme portuna propan enjeksiyonu için enjektör ilavesi ile sistemin reaktivite kontrollü sıkıştırma ateşlemeli (RCCI) motora dönüştürülmesi sağlanmıştır. Sonrasında toplam yakıt kütlesi sabit tutularak farklı propan oranlarının kullanımının ve farklı yanma başlangıç zamanının RCCI bir motorda performans, yanma karakteristiği ve emisyon değerlerine etkileri incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak %90 propan ve %10 dizel yakıt kullanımı ile performansta %11 iyileşme sağlanırken, emisyon değerleri için de katalitik egzoz ekipmanlarının kullanımına gerek kalmadığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca performans ve emisyon değerleri için en iyi yanma başlangıç zamanının üst ölü noktadan -6 °KA sonra olduğu saptanmıştır.</p></abstract>
