                                                                                                                        <abstract><p>Dışkaçış merdivenlerinde erişime ve kullanıma yönelik sorunların var olması vesürekliliği nedeniyle binalarda yangın güvenliği açısından tehlikeli durumlarsöz konusudur. Bu çalışmanın amacı, dış kaçış merdivenlerindeki tehlikekaynaklarının ortadan kaldırılması ya da azaltılması ve bu kaynaklarınkullanıcılar üzerinde oluşturabileceği zararların önlenmesidir. Çalışmada,mevcut binalarda bulunan dış kaçış merdivenlerindeki tehlikelerin önlenmesine yönelikyapılacak düzenlemelerde, hangi tehlike kaynaklarının dikkate alınmasıgerektiğini tespit etmek ve çözüm üretmek amacıyla yeni bir risk analizi modeliönerilmiştir. Bu model, İstanbul’un 10 ilçesinde yapılan alan çalışmasıyla sınanmışve dış kaçış merdivenlerindeki risklerin yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Eldeedilen sonuçlar, önerilen modelin dış kaçış merdivenlerinde var olan tehlikekaynaklarının, bina sayısı ve tehlike düzeyi dikkate alınarakderecelendirilmesinde ve risklerin analiz edilerek tehlikelere karşı çözümlerüretilmesinde, başarılı bir biçimde kullanılabileceğini göstermiştir.</p></abstract>
