Suçun aydınlatılmasında kritik bir rol oynayan olay yeri inceleme kavramı, adli bilimler kapsamında önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Soruşturmaların ilk basamağı olay yerinin incelenmesidir. Olay yerinin incelenmesi soruşturmanın gidişatını değiştirebileceği için oldukça önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Yükseköğretim Kurulu Ulusal Tez Merkezi (YÖKTEZ) veri tabanında yer alan olay yeri inceleme ile ilgili çalışmalar bibliyometrik yöntemle incelenmiştir. Bu çalışma kapsamında toplamda 106 adet lisansüstü, doktora ve tıpta uzmanlık çalışması yıllara göre dağılım, üniversite türleri, enstitüler, ana bilim dalları, araştırma yöntemleri ve konu başlıkları gibi parametreler analiz edilmiştir. Tez çalışmalarının çoğunluğunun devlet üniversitelerinde yapıldığı, en fazla çalışma yapılan enstitülerin ise Fen Bilimleri ve Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüleri olduğu belirlendi. Araştırma yöntemleri alt başlığı içerisinde yer alan nicel araştırma yöntemleri daha çok tercih edilmiş olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın olay yeri inceleme alanındaki akademik eğilimleri belirleyerek gelecekteki araştırmalara yol göstermesi amaçlanmaktadır.
The concept of crime scene investigation, which plays a critical role in the elucidation of crime, plays an important role in forensic sciences. The first step of investigations is the examination of the crime scene. Crime scene investigation has a very important place as it can change the course of the investigation. In this study, the studies on crime scene investigation in the database of the National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education (YÖKTEZ) were examined by bibliometric method. Within the scope of this study, a total of 106 postgraduate, doctoral and medical specialty studies were analyzed in terms of parameters such as distribution by years, university types, institutes, main branches of science, research methods and subject headings. It was determined that the majority of thesis studies were conducted in state universities, and the institutes with the highest number of studies were the Institutes of Science and Social Sciences. In terms of research methods, quantitative research methods were found to be more preferredThis study aims to guide future research by identifying academic trends in the field of crime scene investigation.
