İbn Khuzaymah; One of the ehl-i hadith scholars of third century AH, has written a book named Kitab al-Tawhid about the creed discussions in his time. Although the author does not approve to speak about that matters, he says he had to write this book in order to avoid his students discussing this matters, which he got to know they have been lost in theological thoughts. İbn Khuzaymah addresses in this book important issues of the Islamic aqaid such as the attributes of Allah, intercession, Allah be seen in the Hereafter, relationship between faith and deeds, life in the grave and also he endeavours to prove the notion of ahl al-sunnah against ahl al-bid’ah. This article aims to assay some hadiths which the author put forward to prove Allah's face attribute and to analyze his opinion in this subject.
Hicri 3. asrın ehl-i hadis müelliflerinden İbn Huzeyme, Kitâbu’t-tevhîd adlı eserini, döneminin akaid tartışmaları üzerine kaleme almıştır. Müellif her ne kadar bu konularda konuşmayı hoş görmese de talebelerinin kelamî meselelere daldığını öğrendiğini ve onları bu tartışmalardan sakındırmak için bu eseri yazmaya mecbur kaldığını söylemektedir. İbn Huzeyme bu eserinde Allah'ın sıfatları, şefaat, ru’yet, iman-amel ilişkisi ve kabir hayatı gibi itikadi konulara temas etmekte ve ehl-i bid’at gruplarına karşı ehl-i sünnet’in görüşünü ispat etmeye çalışmaktadır. Bu makale müellifin Allah'ın vech sıfatını ispat etmek için delil getirdiği bazı hadisleri ve onun bu konudaki görüşlerini tahlil etmeyi amaçlamaktadır.
