Kimi araştırmacılar tarafından postmodern olarak tanımlanan günümüzde, üst anlatılarıngeçerliliğini halen koruyor olması mümkündür. Postmodern dönemde üst anlatıları ararken,hakikat ve hakikat-sonrası kavramlarının irdelenmesi faydalı bir başlangıç noktası olabilir.Öyle ki postmodern göreliliğe dayalı hakikat-sonrası kavramının bugün ne anlama geldiği vesiyasi ve toplumsal etkileri henüz tam bir netlik oluşturmamaktadır. Bu çalışma, postmoderndönemi ve yeni medya çağını ele alarak hakikat sonrası siyasetin teorik çerçevesini vetoplumsal etkilerini tartışmaktadır. Çalışmada öncelikli olarak Anthony Giddens, Jacques Ellul,Jean-François Lyotard, Michel Foucault, Zygmunt Bauman gibi düşünürlerin görüşlerindenfaydalanılmaktadır. Modernizmin eleştirisini yapanlarla postmodern özgürlükleri savunanlarınbakış açılarını birleştiren bir perspektif sunulmaktadır. Bu şekilde, postmodern bir kavram olanhakikat-sonrası siyasetin ne olduğu ve toplumsal etkilerinin daha iyi anlaşılması istenmektedir.Hakikat-sonrası kavramının incelenmesi ve siyasetle ilişkilendirilerek bir çerçeve oluşturulmasıamaçlanmaktadır. Üç ana bölümden oluşan çalışmanın ilk bölümünde, postmodern görelilikkavramı ele alınmaktadır. İkinci bölümde, postmodern dönemde hakikat ve gerçeklikkavramlarının anlamları araştırılmaktadır. İlk iki bölümde sunulan temele binaen hakikatsonrası siyaset kavramına son bölümde yer verilmektedir. Literatür taramasına dayalı teorik birincelemeyi içermekte olan bu çalışmanın, hakikat-sonrası siyasetin etkilerini ölçümleyecek veanaliz edecek gelecek çalışmalara kavramsal zemin oluşturması umulmaktadır.
In the present day often characterized as postmodern by certain researchers, it is possiblethat grand narratives still maintain their validity. In the search for grand narratives in thepostmodern era, examining the concepts of truth and post-truth can be a useful startingpoint. This is because the meaning of the post-truth concept based on postmodern relativityand its political and social implications are not yet entirely clear today. Therefore, this studydiscusses the theoretical framework and social impacts of post-truth politics by addressing the postmodern era and the age of new media. The study primarily draws on the viewsof thinkers such as Anthony Giddens, Jacques Ellul, Jean-François Lyotard, Michel Foucault,Zygmunt Bauman. It presents a perspective that combines the critiques of modernism withthe advocacy of postmodern freedoms. In this way, the study aims to better understand whatpost-truth politics, a postmodern concept, is and its societal impacts. It is intended to examine the post-truth concept and to frame it in relation to politics. The study, consisting ofthree main sections, addresses postmodern relativity in the first section. The second sectionexplores the meanings of truth and reality in the postmodern era. Based on the foundationpresented in the first two sections, the concept of post-truth politics is discussed at the finalsection. This study, which includes a theoretical examination based on a literature review,is expected to provide a conceptual foundation for future research that will measure andanalyze the impacts of post-truth politics.
