                            <p>In this study,the influence of socio-economic, political and cultural factors which areaccepted as the determining factors for the percentage of women representativesin national parliaments are analyzed for OECD countries. In this context,according to the results of the regression analysis done on the socio-economicfactors, it was determined that the rate of women participating in the laborforce and the rate of urbanization have a positive effect while the rate ofwomen holding a bachelor’s degree have a negative one on the percentage ofwomen representatives. In addition, the number of political parties in parliamentthat is one of the political factors and the dominant religion in the OECDcountries (Christianity) that is one of the cultural factors have positiveeffect on the percentage of women representatives.</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>Bu çalısmada ulusal parlamentolardaki kadın milletvekili temsil oranınıbelirledigi varsayılan sosyo-ekonomik, siyasal ve kültürel faktörlerin etkisiOECD ülkeleri için analiz edilmistir. Bu kapsamda yapılan regresyon analizisonucunda, sosyo-ekonomik faktörler içinde sayılan kadının isgücüne katılımoranı ve sehirlesme oranının pozitif yönlü, üniversite mezunu kadın oranının isenegatif yönlü olarak kadın milletvekili temsil oranı üzerinde anlamlı etkisioldugu saptanmıstır. Siyasal faktörlerden biri olan parlamentondaki partisayısının pozitif yönlü ve kültürel faktörler arasında sayılan OECD ülkelerindekibaskın din (Hıristiyanlıgın) degiskenin pozitif yönlü olarak kadın milletvekilitemsil oranını anlamlı olarak etkiledigi belirlenmistir.</p></abstract>
