Çalışmaya 5- 18 yaş aralığındalumbosakral etkilenimli Spina Bifida tanısı almış 40 olgu dahil edildi.Olguların %60’ı Meningomyelosel, %40’ı Spina Bifida Okulta’dır. Katılımcılarındemografik verileri, vücut kitle indeksi, klinik bilgileri çalışmacı tarafındanhazırlanan forma kaydedildi. Alt ekstremite kas kuvveti ölçümünde manuel kastesti yöntemi kullanıldı. Mobilite, Hoffer Sınıflama Sistemi, yürüme düzeyiGillette Fonksiyonel Yürüme Değerlendirme Skalası ile ve yaşam kalitesiÇocuklar İçin Yaşam Kalitesi Anketi ile değerlendirildi. Analizlerde SPSS 22.0programı kullanıldı. Bağımsız grupların birbirleri ile karşılaştırılmasındaStudent’s-t İndependent ve Ki-Kare (Pearson Ki-Kare, Monte Carlo Ki-Kare)testleri kullanıldı. Değişkenler arasındaki ilişkinin analizi için Sperman vePearson korelasyon testleri kullanıldı. P&amp;lt;0,05 olasılık değeri anlamlı kabuledildi.Meningomyelosel grubunun mobilite düzeyi, yaşam kaliteleri okultagrubuna göre düşük bulunurken, vücut kitle indeksi yüksekti (p&amp;lt;0.05).Çalışmamızda alt ekstremite kas gücünün, mobilite seviyesini, yürümedüzeylerini ve yaşam kalitesini Meningomyelosel hastalarında doğrudanetkilediği sonucuna varıldı (p&amp;lt;0.05). Elde ettiğimiz sonuçlar doğrultusundaSpina Bifidalı çocukların kısmi parezi ve kas kuvvetsizlikleri fonksiyonellikile doğrudan ilişkilidir. Dolayısıyla klinikte çalışan fizyoterapistlerlumbosakral etkilenimli Spina Bifidalı olgularda alt ekstremite fonksiyonelliğive mobilite düzeyini arttırmak için güçlendirme egzersizlerini ve yaşamkalitesini olumlu yönde etkileyici girişimleri programlarına dahil etmelidir.</p>
