This study investigates corporate social responsibility (CSR) trends among Turkish participation banks, members of the Participation Banks Association of Türkiye (TKBB), through X(Twitter) analysis. Posts were collected using Python and analyzed using a CSR coding table derived from the literature review. The content analysis revealed characteristic CSR features in the X posts of these banks, highlighting similarities and differences in various CSR areas between public and privately owned participation banks. Notably, a limited emphasis was placed on Islamic values. This research provides theoretical insights into CSR in Islamic banking and demonstrates a practical application. The findings underscore the significant role of CSR in the banking sector, shaped by sectoral, societal, and cultural contexts, as well as communi8 cation policies. While social media offers a glimpse into the these banks’ CSR tendencies, it may not fully capture their CSR activities. The study suggests further research involving comprehensive evaluations of the websites, action plans, and other documents of institutions to gain a more complete understanding of their CSR efforts. This study offers theoretical insights for CSR studies in Islamic banking and, presents a practical application.
