                            <p>Brucellosis isthe most common zoonotic infection around the world that is caused by directcontact or consumption of infected animals meat or products. It is amultisystemic disease with a wide range of clinical symptoms. The disease maypresent with broad spectrum manifestations and involves many systems. Otherless frequent complications include intraabdominal abscesses, appendicitis,ileitis, colitis and cholecystitis. Acute cholecystitis is a very rarepresentation of brucellosis. Here we report case of a 61 year-old male withacute cholecystitis caused by B.Melitensis.</p></trans-abstract>
