PERİODONTAL KEMİK İÇİ DEFEKTLERİN TEDAVİSİNDE CERRAHİ VE CERRAHİ OLMAYAN PERİODONTAL TEDAVİ UYGULAMASI: VAKA SERİSİ

Abstract

Periodontitis primer etyolojik ajanın mikrobiyal dental plak olduğu kronik, enflamatuvar bir hastalıktır. Alveolar kemik yıkımı bu duruma eşlik eder ve ileri durumlarda diş kaybına neden olabilir. Periodontal cep idamesi ve kemik rejenerasyonu için kemik içi defektin ve hastanın durumuna göre uygun bir yöntem seçilir. Periodontal kemik içi defektlerin tedavisi için cerrahi ve cerrahi olmayan birçok tedavi yöntemi önerilmiştir. Bu yaklaşımların hepsi kendi içinde etkili olsa da kemik içi defektlerin tedavisinde öncelikle cerrahi olmayan periodontal tedavi ve etkili plak kontrolü oldukça önemlidir. Bu olgu sunumunda üç kemik içi defektin cerrahi ve cerrahi olmayan periodontal tedavi ile idamesi sunulmaktadır. Kemik içi defektlerde cerrahi ve cerrahi olmayan tedaviler ile klinik ve radyografik olarak iyileşme gözlenmiştir.

Non Surgical and Surgical Periodontal Treatment of Intrabony Defects

Abstract

Periodontitis is a chronic, inflammatory disease in which the primary etiological agent is microbial dental plaque. Alveolar bone destruction accompanies this condition and in advanced cases, it may lead to tooth loss. An appropriate method is selected for periodontal pocket maintenance and bone regeneration according to the condition of the intrabony defect and the patient. Many surgical and nonsurgical treatment methods have been proposed for the treatment of intrabony periodontal defects. Although all of these approaches are effective in themselves, nonsurgical periodontal treatment and effective plaque control are very important in the treatment of intrabony defects. In this case report, the maintenance of three intrabony defects with surgical and nonsurgical periodontal treatment is presented. Clinical and radiographic improvement was observed in intrabony defects with surgical and nonsurgical treatments.
