POINT ESTIMATION OF PARAMETERS IN DISCRETE BURR DISTRIBUTION BASED ON TYPE

Öz

In this study, maximum likelihood, proportion and modiŞed maximum likelihood estimators ofdiscrete Burr distribution parameters based on Type I censored sample are obtained. Monte Carlo simulationstudy is performed to compare these estimators in terms of their biases and mean squared errors. A numericalexample is also provided
