<p>US Airways Flight Number 1549 Airbus 320 plane lost thrust in both engines as a result of hitting a flock of geese while landing from New York on Janury 15, 2009. In the miracle case, the plane had lost both engines and started descending to Hudson river. Without a loss of single life, this case was written to the history of aviation with golden letters, instead of ‘blood’. The chain of actual events in the landing plane will be interpreted from the perspective of Crew Resources Management (CRM). In this respect; first, the literature on CRM will be discussed, second the chain of events in the landing plane will be summarized and chosen scenes from the “Sully” movie will be commented on with respect to CRM competencies via the method of document analysis.</p></trans-abstract>
