Emirî is one of the poet at Ottoman Empire in 16th.century. There is not enough information about his life but he wrote a diwan which includes all of his poems and he dedicated his diwan to Sultan Suleyman The Magnificent. If examined deeply, we could build a relationship between Emirî’s poems with Hâfız poems by means of poetic themes. It is studied in this paper literary arts and their themes of the gazelles by comparing the verses written by two poets.
