Gülistan’ın Türkçeye ilk tercümesini, 739/1391 yılında KıpçakTürkçesiyle Seyf-i Sarâyî yapmıştır. Bundan bir müddet sonra800/1397-8 yılında Sibicâbî adında birisi Gülistan’ı Doğu Türkçesinetercüme etmiştir. Anadolu sahasında ise ilk Gülistan tercümesiniMahmûd bin Kâdî-i Manyâs’ın yaptığı kabul edilmektedir. ManyaslıMahmud’un biri manzum olarak yapılmış ilaveli ve geniş, diğeri demuhtasar olmak üzere iki Gülistan Tercümesi bulunmaktadır. Buçalışmada Manyaslı Mahmud’un muhtasar Gülistan Tercümesinde sözyapımı üzerinde durulacaktır.
The first Gülistan Tercümesi with Turkish is Gülistan bi’t-türki’which was written in Kıpchak Turkish by Seyfi Serayi; the second is inChaghatay Turkish by Sibicabi. The first translation into Turkish inAnatolian (Ottoman) era is the translation of Mahmud bin Kadi-iManyas who is one of the writer of Murad II and known with thepseudenym “Manyasoğlu”. Manyasoğlu has two seperate translations.One is abridged prose the other with additions, wide and poetic. Thisstudy was made upon the word structure of abridged prose of GülistanTercümesi.
